made with love
letter from amy
Hello and thank you so much for visiting,I am a bespoke card designer who loves and specialises in the unique. I have been designing and creating bespoke wedding invitations, cards, party invitations, photo albums & guest books, place settings for 6 years and absolutely love working with a clients ideas to produce something truly special and personal to them.
All of my work is unique to the customer and no two designs will ever be alike. I love weddings and the whole fairytale idea of such a big and wonderful day. The best thing about doing what I love is that I get to share this with the Bride & Groom every time I have a new commission – I get to build working relationships with new and interesting people and become part of the biggest day of their lives. I can’t think of anything more wonderful! My work is the first impression that families have of the big day. I always feel so honoured to be involved.
In the last few years my work has been particularly popular with same sex couples. It seems that the type of greetings cards produced for same sex couples have been very much a "best fit" of a traditional heterosexual cards. A marriage is about the love that a couple share and commitment they want to express to each other when getting married. Just because they are a same sex couple why should they not have the same choices and options to reflect the commitment they would like to convey on their wedding day?
Love 'n' hugs

Amy Wells is determined to deliver bespoke stylish wedding invites to same sex couples, combined with the ultimate keepsake of the signed and framed example of the completed items. Same sex couples that are looking to celebrate their relationship by making it more formal are often either disappointed at the availability of stylish invites and accessories or have to settle for “best fit” items originally designed with hetro weddings in mind. Whilst this may be ok for some, Amy Wells is appalled that most of the available material supposedly designed for same sex couples seems to poke (sometimes not very gentle) fun at the happy couple. Poor humour or bawdy cards will always have a market, but for those looking for something truly special to announce their commitment, the market is surprisingly empty.
By spending time and talking with the couple during the design phase, Amy can carefully tailor invites, photo albums, guest books, place settings etc to truly compliment the day and to be both unique and highly relevant to the couple. This results in a range of wedding stationery and accessories that are truly special enough to be maintained as keepsakes of the happy day, without the cringe that may come from items that were “the best fit at the time”.
